Dr. Alicia Derryberry
Dr. Alicia Derryberry graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Her special interests are feline medicine and feline behavior.
Dr. Derryberry grew up on a dairy farm in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. She also graduated from Columbia State Community College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. After working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for a few years, she decided to further her education by attending veterinary school.
Dr. Derryberry and her husband Casey live in Culleoka and attend Scribner’s Mill church of Christ, are members of the Culleoka Volunteer Fire Department and the Maury County Search and Rescue Team. They also are members of the Maury County Disaster Animal Response Team of which Dr. Derryberry is the Assistant Team Leader. They have two dogs, six indoor cats, and seven barn cats. In her free time, Dr. Derryberry likes to play the piano, read, and spend time with her animals.
After practicing in other cities, Dr. Derryberry is excited to be “home” to serve the community in which she was born and raised and hopes to develop lasting relationships with her clients and their furry family members.
