Dr. Alicia Derryberry
Dr. Alicia Derryberry graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the Independent Veterinary Practitioners Association. Her special interests are dentistry, ultrasound, and feline medicine and behavior.
Dr. Derryberry grew up on a dairy farm in Mt. Pleasant and graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. She also graduated from Columbia State Community College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. After working as a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician for a few years, she decided to further her education by attending veterinary school.
Dr. Derryberry and her husband Casey live in the Culleoka area and are members of Scribner’s Mill church of Christ. Her hobbies are reading and playing the piano. She also enjoys spending time with and taking care of their cats and dogs.
Dr. Derryberry has been the practice owner of Eastside Animal Hospital since 2015.

What are one or two things do you wish more pet owners knew, or did, regarding pet care? - “Prevention of disease is healthier for the pet and usually less expensive for the owners than treatment of disease once it occurs.”

What are your hobbies, interests, or free time activities? - “Reading and playing the piano.”
